you can tell by the sound of the whistle

as it gets closer the rain falls harder
the train blows the horn again and again

i wonder if the train is the rain
as the rain falls harder and the train gets closer

as the train recedes from the horn
the rain starts to slacken off

when i can't hear it at all
the rain stops and the sun comes out

so it might be so
