Thank you for your comments. Pat was a great guy, and we will miss him very much. He helped many people ... he was genuine, authentic, compassionate and upfront. A master woodworker in the second part of his life, he made exquisite custom "God Boxes" and he gave me one. Each one was unique, as we all are. He died a few days after his 37 AA anniversary, and a week after his birthday. I wish I could have gotten to know him better, but I know him and his quirks and expressions ... his compassion and warmth ... we come and we go without warning.
To inspire, encourage, show kindness; in so many words, to love, is a life well lived. Sounds like he did this. Hoping to transmit even a fraction of that to my fellows.
