we have cellphones and electronic notepads
but i still write on my hand a line or two
if it is really important to remember
if it is something longer to recall
i'll get a receipt from my wallet
write on the blank back of it
because i must do the actions
i am accustomed with and remember
writing with a pen on something
the pen is mightier than the sword
even has a better memory than me
