Simplicity, humility and trust are the spiritual attributes of birds. Jesus and St. Francis pointed to birds as examples for we anxious human beings. Your poem put me in mind of their teachings. The wholistic understanding that we are here with nature as a guide. We do not tame nature so much as nature teaches us.
