We Demolished the Wrong Building

We demolished the wrong building. Okay, I'll say it again, we demolished the wrong building. It wasn't 3342 Barnham Way, it was 3324 Barnham Way. That aside, the job was a snap. But the problem is, we demolished the wrong building. And it was a church. You can't fire me, we're partners. You said you wanted to run the office, and I'd go out and do the jobs.

Ha, this is great. And true. This happened here last year. A demolition crew went out and cracked into the wrong garage, started tearing it down. What can you say to the guy who comes out of his house and asks what the hell you're doing with an excavator claw peeling the roof from his garage?

Not much. Fall down and scream, I suppose. A few years ago I heard of a prank, where someone called a demo company to demolish an unoccupied single story house & the demo company did the job, only later discovering that whomever called to have the job done wasn't the homeowner. I think it happened in Seattle. Searched for it, couldn't find the article.
